Collagen and Hyaluronate Replacement Therapy—New all Natural Products
Replacing what your body has lost with time can be accomplished by filling in lines and grooves with a purified collagen or hyaline gel injection. Collagen and Hyaluronic acid are natural components of our skin and diminish with age.  These proteins and gels are in a dynamic state of production and degradation within our bodies.  The key to successful rejuvenation is to maintain adequate levels to support our skin and maintain sufficient volume  to prevent wrinkles and grooves.  In the recent pass our main option was the use of Bovine derived collagen known as Zyderm and Zyplast.  This therapy required skin testing prior to treatment and results usually lasted 3-4 months.  The following products are now available and in full use often times in combination to produce the best possible results.  Dr. Newman can use his experience with over 1000 patients to help meet your desired goals for wrinkles and grooves.

Both Cosmoderm and Cosmoplast represent the best in natural human collagen replacement therapy.  The advantages of these products is their softness and bio-identical compatability  with our skin.  No skin testing is required for either cosmoderm or cosmoplast.  Both natural collagens contain local anesthetic solution which makes administration with limited discomfort.  Dr. Newman uses both Cosmoderm and Cosmoplast to correct wrinkles around the mouth and often will combine theses therapies with Restylane, Hyaloform, Captique, and Radiesse.

Isolagen:
Recently, there has been an advancement in medical technology which has enabled Dr. Newman at Premier Plastic Surgery to treat wrinkles, thinning lips, acne scars, and chicken pox scars with your body’s own natural skin cells known as fibroblasts. The ISOLAGEN system takes a sample of your body’s skin and cultivates the cells and collagen so that they may be safely reintroduced into your body to produce longer lasting results than could be achieved with traditional collagen. Restylane, Perlane, Restylane Touch, Restylane SubQ, Hyalaform, Hyalaform Plus and Captique:
Recently, there has been the introduction of hyaluronic gels into the United States market.  Restylane, Perlane, Restylane Touch, Restylane Sub Q, Hyalaform, Hyalaform Plus and Captique are examples of these products.  Dr. Newman has experience with each one of these products and has satisfied patients with typical results lasting 4-6 months with some patients maintaining satisfactory results at one year!  The combination of Cosmoderm and Cosmoplast with these hyaluronic gel fillers can achieve greater results than either one alone.  With so many different fillers available, a thorough evaluation by a physician experienced with  hyaluronic gels such as Dr. Newman will help you achieve the most natural feeling and looking results.
